Nautel’s NS72-36 HMS sonar amplifier recently passed it’s MIL-STD-901E shock & vibration qualification test at the Canadian Naval Engineering Test Establishment (NETE). Well done to all the design and production team for their great work in getting it through the qualification program first time!

The company will be displaying the world’s first transmitters designed for the high-power demands of NAVDAT transmission, as well as an innovative and flexible IP Radio Gateway. VHF transmitters, and a helideck solution purpose-built for offshore platforms will also be shown.
Nautel Sonar will feature HMS Amplifiers and Transducers designed for the Royal Canadian Navy’s major Underwater Warfare Suite Upgrade (UWSU) to Halifax class frigates as well as it’s latest sonar systems designed for smaller frigates and corvettes.
Fantastic news! Nautel Sonar has successfully achieved a significant milestone in its contract to supply 12 HMS sub-systems for the Royal Canadian Navy’s Halifax Class frigates under the Underwater Warfare Suite Upgrade (UWSU) Programme. With representatives from GDMS-C and DND present as witnesses, our system has successfully passed its First Article Factory Acceptance Test. The rigorous testing of the “510” system took place over a two-week period at Nautel Sonar’s specialized Underwater Test Facility in Cornwall, Ontario.
