Nautel Sonar in the guise of Head of Sonar Division, Steve Farley and Sonar Technical Lead, Samson Almeida, will be attending the Navy Leaders Combined Naval Event at the Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre.

In-water Acceptance Tests for New Canadian Sonars Latest Sonar Technology for Canadian Frigates

Fantastic news! Nautel Sonar has successfully achieved a significant milestone in its contract to supply 12 HMS sub-systems for the Royal Canadian Navy’s Halifax Class frigates under the Underwater Warfare Suite Upgrade (UWSU) Programme. With representatives from GDMS-C and DND present as witnesses, our system has successfully passed its First Article Factory Acceptance Test. The rigorous testing of the “510” system took place over a two-week period at Nautel Sonar’s specialized Underwater Test Facility in Cornwall, Ontario. Congratulations to Team Nautel Sonar for a job well done!
